Heat pump is a compact heating unit, which is suitable for the autonomous heating and for the hot domestic water preparing. Such a system can be easily adjusted for residential and commercial buildings. Heat pump is an environmentally-friendly system. This property is determined by the factor, that the system does not use any kind of fuel. So is avoided the exhaust of gas. Heat pumps are economical units. You can get 3-4 kW of heat energy by using only 1 kW of electrical energy (depends on working conditions).

Usage of different power heat pumps is a new way to solve heating problems. The maximum work efficiency can be achieved (depends on season and work conditions). Heat pump works in automatic mode and can work up to 10-15 years without any issues. For this reason seasonal technical care have to be done.

Heat pump work process

Unit, which is called heat pump, absorbs low potential heat from the environment. The temperature of the environment have to 4 or 6 ºC or even higher. The absorbed heat is transferred to end user by help of water or air. Heat exchange is possible due physical properties of refrigerant (Freon), which is used in heat pumps. Heat pump power consumption is used only for transferring the refrigerant through the system. This process is made by using a compressor, like in refrigeration. In case of reverse heat pump, heat can be transferred to the heating system or domestic water system during winter, and in summer to environment.

Efficiency of heat pump depends on the temperature of heat source. The bigger heat source temperature, the bigger efficiency of heat pump!
